As we step into 2026, we wanted to ensure you didn't miss our 2025 recap, brought to you in a video exclusive over the Christmas period, so here’s another snapshot of the success we achieved together in 2025.

Highlights from 2025

We continued our 10-year milestone celebrations and launched Somo’s first TV campaign, while once again being voted #1 for Financial Health by 4thWay. In June, we were named Regional Lender of the Year by Bridging & Commercial, and later reached an important milestone: 20,000 active brokers and introducers, helping us achieve our highest-ever level of repeat business.

Our industry recognition continued with three Award nominations from the The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) displaying our commitment to raising industry standards and bridging excellence.

Strengthening Investor Protection

In September, we launched our Second Charge Limited Capital Loss Guarantee, highlighting our investor-first approach and confidence in the quality of our second charge product performance.

Across the year, our loans, processes and underwriting were tested, including in court and by the Financial Ombudsman Service - and each time, our approach stood up to scrutiny, reinforcing the strength and discipline behind our lending decisions.

Looking ahead to 2026

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, our social investors, for your ongoing trust and support throughout 2025. As we make our way into this new year, our mission remains the same: to prioritise the security of your capital while working to deliver strong returns.

Wishing you a prosperous 2026.

All your capital and uncredited interest is at risk. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. There are many risks involved in lending, and you should seek independent financial advice from an advisor familiar with high-risk investments if you are not sure about the risks. Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment, and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong. Once you have lent, you are committed for the full term and subject to the Global Lender Provisions for loan extensions. Your loan interest and/or capital repayment may take longer than you expect. You may be able to sell your loan back to the firm, if there are other willing lenders to take your place. You should not rely on the ability to re-sell the loan and you may have to sell it at a discount if you need liquidity quickly.
